October 7th Broward Shell Club Craft Group! This month’s meeting we will be making shell Christmas trees for this year’s Broward Shell club Christmas party! Every year we make them for the center pieces on the tables at our party and then raffle them off at the end. We are asking that every member make a Christmas tree to donate and then make a tree to take home. We will let everyone know soon what date the Christmas party will be. Hope to see everyone at the meeting. We will have tons of beautiful crafting shells for sale and supplies in case you don’t have any.
As always, if you have any projects you would like to donate for the Shell Club Fair in January – we can use items to sell so that we can raise money to get access to shells that folks may want for future projects.
Please Note: Room Change. Room is on other end of the building, For those who go to the Wednesday Shell Club Meetings – it will be in that room.
Here’s the suggested general supply list suggested for any shell project:
- Placemat to cover work area
- Glue gun- Be sure it’s a high temp glue gun
- Glue sticks- for high temp glue guns
- Silicon glue pad. These are available near the hot glue section at craft stores. Loaners are available at meeting also
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Xacto knife
- Glue such as tacky gel glue
- Crazy glue or other fast drying glue

Please feel free to bring any of your personal crafts you have made to show the rest of the Club. We love to learn from each other and are looking for suggestions for future meetings.
