Important-Please RSVP so we will be sure to have enough trees and shells for our crafters. If you forget, still come.
You don’t want to miss the November craft meeting! We are going to have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!! So please join us.
Activity
By special request, we are making shell covered paper mache and styrofoam trees which will be used as the table centerpieces at the club’s holiday party on December 13th.
The Broward Shell Club will provide the holiday trees, shells, bling and more fun things to cover your trees.
Here’s your supply list
- Glue gun -the club will provide the glue sticks. We have a few glue guns you can borrow if needed
- Silicon pad
- Placemat to cover your work area
- Paper plates are useful for sorting your shells
- Toothpicks
- Xacto knife
- Scissors
- Tweezers
That is all you need. Really!!!!
– Of course, you are welcome to bring your own shells, etc. and other projects to work on.
– We will have lots of shells for sale during the meeting.
– Bring your creations to show off. We love to see them.

The BSC (Broward Shell Club) has hundreds of shell related Pinterest Boards that include thousands of shell related “pins” to inspire you. Here’s the link to the club’s “holiday” board.
FYI- Next month we are making holiday ornaments. You will have the chance to make several during the meeting and we will have an ornament “exchange” at the end of the meeting.
And don’t forget that the deadline for submitting your Shell Show entry forms is November 30th. The 2024 Shell Show packet is available for download on the club’s website, www.browardshellclub.org. I will bring entry forms to the meeting.
