Monday November 4th Broward Shell Club Craft Group! This month we will be finishing our shell trees for the Christmas party! We will be supplying the trees and shells so all you will need is a glue gun, tweezers, and any extra shells you would like to add. Also the Broward Shell show is coming up in a few months and we really need donations of shell crafted items to sell. If you have any shell frames, people or animals made from shells, ornaments, or any other hand made shell crafts that you made, please donate them so we can sell them at the Shell Show in January. All proceeds from the Shell Show go back into the club so that we can keep the Shell Club going and pay for shells/ supplies. Also if you have already finished making the Christmas tree for the party we will have other trees to make if you would like to donate a tree for the shell show! Hope to see everyone there!
Here’s the suggested general supply list suggested for any shell project:
- Placemat to cover work area
- Glue gun- Be sure it’s a high temp glue gun
- Glue sticks- for high temp glue guns
- Silicon glue pad. These are available near the hot glue section at craft stores. Loaners are available at meeting also
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Xacto knife
- Glue such as tacky gel glue
- Crazy glue or other fast drying glue

Please feel free to bring any of your personal crafts you have made to show the rest of the Club. We love to learn from each other and are looking for suggestions for future meetings.
