July 1st Broward Shell Club Craft Group! This month we will be making shell jewelry again. Yes, I know we made jewelry a few meetings ago, but a lot of members requested it again since they were not able to finish their projects at the last meeting. We will be teaching how to drill and wire wrap shells. Please bring your favorite shells, sea glass, beads, jewelry wire, Dremel with diamond drill bits, earring wires, and clasps. We will have shells, sea glass, wire, etc. for sale at the meeting in case you don’t have all the supplies you need. We will also have a Dremel to use that the club owns. Please bring your unfinished jewelry projects from the last meeting to complete and show others. Also I’m always looking for ideas so email me back if you have any suggestions or ideas for the next few craft club meetings! Can’t wait to see everyone there!
Here’s the suggested general supply list suggested for any shell project:
- Placemat to cover work area
- Glue gun- Be sure it’s a high temp glue gun
- Glue sticks- for high temp glue guns
- Silicon glue pad. These are available near the hot glue section at craft stores. Loaners are available at meeting also
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Xacto knife
- Glue such as tacky gel glue
- Crazy glue or other fast drying glue

Please feel free to bring any of your personal crafts you have made to show the rest of the Club. We love to learn from each other and are looking for suggestions for future meetings.
