Activity

We are making Christmas ornaments. There will be enough time to make a few and we will have an ornament exchange at the end of the meeting.

There are 345 pins of shell themed holiday ornaments and decorations. About half are ornaments. You can also search Pinterest for shell ornaments and you will have lots of ideas.

 Here’s your supply list

• Placement to cover work area
• Paper plates or tray to hold your items
• Hot glue gun and sticks. We have a few loaner glue guns available.
• Silicon Pad
• Scissors
• Tweezers
• Other glues, ie crazy glue, E6000, Tacky Glue, etc.

The club will provide a variety of shells and ornament supplies, such as clear ornaments, snowflakes to add shells and bling, such as beads and charms, ribbon, starfish, sand dollars and more. Some items will be limited but there will be plenty for you to make some nice holiday ornaments. You can bring your own shells and bling to use and share with others if you like

NOTE- The club has a Dremel tool members can use to drill holes in their shells if desired.

As usual, we will have shells available for purchase. Members can bring their own shells to sell.

Please bring any ornaments you already have to share with us. We love to see all of your projects!

Note: Please bring your finished Christmas trees to the meeting. We want to make sure we have enough for the holiday dinner centerpieces.
