Meeting Details
When: Monday night, April 1st, 2024
Time: 6:00 to 9:00 PM
Where: Pompano Beach Emma Lou Olson Civic Center

It was great meeting all the new members at the last meeting! This month’s meeting will be jewelry making with shells. We will be teaching wire wrapping and drilling. We will have multiple teachers showing how to do each craft. Please bring your favorite shells, sharks teeth, coral, sea glass etc to drill and wrap. We will have shells and other supplies for sale to use if you don’t have your own to bring. Other supplies you will need are jewelry wire, pliers, dremel, diamond drill bits and beads.
Here’s the suggested general supply list suggested for any shell project:
- Placemat to cover work area
- Glue gun- Be sure it’s a high temp glue gun
- Glue sticks- for high temp glue guns
- Silicon glue pad. These are available near the hot glue section at craft stores. Loaners are available at meeting also
- Scissors
- Tweezers
- Xacto knife
- Glue such as tacky gel glue
- Crazy glue or other fast drying glue

Please feel free to bring any of your personal crafts you have made to show the rest of the Club. We love to learn from each other and are looking for suggestions for future meetings.
